Adoption Centers

We love the Southern Nevada community, and we're blessed to have the respect and support reciprocated back to us!

We couldn't do the life-saving work we do without our friends at PetSmart. With their help, we host two adoption centers from which, since August 2007, we've adopted out over 300 cats and kittens. Thank you Clark County residents!

We're always hearing how awesome our kitties are so come on down to visit us or our kitties at:

PetSmart - Craig and MLK

PetSmart - Eastern and Russell

Adoption hours:

11-4 pm Saturdays and Sundays at the Eastern and Russell store

by apointment on weekdays

5-8pm on Fridays

3-6pm Saturdays and Sundays at the Craig/MLK store

by appointment on weekdays after 5pm

Right now, our foster homes are bursting at the seams doing their best to take care of all the cats and kittens relinquished to us every day. Our ability to do more is hampered by the lack of room or availability so we sometimes have to say 'no' and kitties have to go to the shelter, or worse.

Our dream is to create a facility in which we care for homeless cats while we evaluate their behavior, temperament, health condition and any special needs they may have prior to placing them in an adoption center. This facility will serve as an intake center, a temporary home for cats and kittens awaiting adoption or foster homes, a quarantine area for sick or recovering cats, and a treatment center for use by a licensed veterinarian. Initially, we're looking for at least 1500 square feet of space or an old motel. Imagine the difference we can make if we have better resources and containment options!

Please see our online wish list and then go to the store, purchase the item and let the manager know you want it to go to the Homeward Bound kitties. if you'd like a donation letter please be sure you leave us your name and address. Our kitties will think you're the cat's meow!
