Board Bios
Carol Fox, Co-Founder and President of the Board
Carol has over 30 years of successful experience in the
business arena that included corporate management, small
business management, establishment and oversight of
non-profit corporations, and customer service. She has 12 years experience in cat rescue. Her contributions include operations of cat adoption centers at various Petsmarts, participation in trap/neuter/release programs, assisting at free spay/neuter clinics, and fostering of hundreds of homeless cats and kittens.
Lee Filipe, Co-Founder and Secretary of the Board
Lee has been an event planner for over 20 years specializing in nonprofit fundraising, special corporate events, and weddings and social activities through her company, Black Tie Events. Her career has led her to experience opportunities such as chamber of commerce management, volunteer management, and she is pursuing a degree in Marketing. She has been active with several animal rescue organizations since 2006 and has fostered over 200 homeless cats and kittens.
